All existing types of withdrawal are still applicable, subject to the terms and conditions. Among the withdrawals allowed are:

When can members apply for Akaun Fleksibel Withdrawal?
Members can apply for Akaun Fleksibel Withdrawal as soon as Akaun Fleksibel has a minimum balance of RM50 either after the transfer of the initial amount from Akaun Sejahtera has been made or after the crediting of new contributions.
What are the conditions for Akaun Fleksibel withdrawal?
The conditions for Akaun Fleksibel withdrawal are as follows:
a. Below 55 years old;
b. Have savings in Akaun Fleksibel; and
c. Minimum withdrawal limit is RM50.
Can members cancel the application for Akaun Fleksibel Withdrawal?
Applications for Akaun Fleksibel Withdrawal cannot be cancelled once the application has been approved. Members are advised to make an informed decision before applying.
How to apply for Akaun Fleksibel Withdrawal?
Members can apply for Akaun Fleksibel Withdrawal through the following channels:
i. KWSP i-Akaun App;
ii. i-Akaun (Member) Web Portal; or
iii. EPF Offices

Do members need to submit any supporting documents when applying?
Members do not need to submit any supporting documents. However, an active bank account number need to be submitted to ensure a smooth payment processing.
When is a member required to visit an EPF office or Self-Service Terminal (SST) for thumbprint verification (CIJ) for an online Akaun Fleksibel Withdrawal application?
Identity verification is generally done automatically through the e-KYC system. However, members may be required to visit an EPF office or use a Self-Service Terminal (SST) for thumbprint verification, depending on the withdrawal amount, as outlined below:
a) RM50.00 to RM3,000.00
- If you have a prior thumbprint verification record, there’s no need to visit an EPF office or SST. Your application will be processed automatically, subject to system verification.
b) RM3,000.01 to RM30,000.00
You are required to visit the nearest EPF office or SST if any of the following applies:
- You have no prior withdrawal record; OR
- Your bank account details differ from your previous records; OR
- Your e-KYC verification was unsuccessful.
c) RM30,000.01 and above
- You must visit the nearest EPF office or SST for thumbprint verification.
What is the payment method for Akaun Fleksibel Withdrawal?
Akaun Fleksibel Withdrawal payments will be direct credited into the member's bank account. To ensure ease of receiving Akaun Fleksibel Withdrawal payments, please ensure the following conditions are met:
- Bank account (savings or current account) status is active; and
- Bank account is registered under the member's own name (not a joint/ company account).
Members who do not have a bank account are advised to open a bank account before applying for Akaun Fleksibel Withdrawal.
Can members who have applied for Age 50/55 Conditional Withdrawals under Facility Support Account 2 (FSA2) apply for Akaun Fleksibel Withdrawal?
Yes, members may apply for Akaun Fleksibel Withdrawal, subject to the terms and conditions as follows:
- You must be under 55 years old.
- You must have existing savings in your Akaun Fleksibel.
- The minimum withdrawal amount is RM50.
When will the Akaun Fleksibel Withdrawal payment be credited into members’ bank account?
Payment will be made within three (3) working days upon application approval.
Can non-Malaysian citizen employees make Akaun Fleksibel Withdrawal through the KWSP i-Akaun app or i-Akaun (Member) web portal?
Non-Malaysian citizen employees are eligible to apply for Akaun Fleksibel Withdrawal via the KWSP i-Akaun app or i-Akaun (Member) web portal, with a maximum limit of RM3,000 per withdrawal transaction (subject to terms and conditions).
For other types of withdrawals, members must apply at any EPF office.

- Local Payments
a. Full payment in Ringgit Malaysia (RM) will be credited to your bank account
If you hold an active account with our panel bank and your identification number matches the bank records.
b. You will be issued a Bankers Cheque
If payment to your bank account is unsuccessful.
- Overseas Payments
Full payment will be made via foreign demand draft (FDD) in one of the following currencies:
i. Brunei Dollar (BND)
ii. Singapore Dollar (SGD)If your chosen currency is not listed above, full payment will be made via foreign telegraphic transfer (FTT).
